The back story…
Aycock Wealth Management was founded in 2013 with the goal of building an independent wealth management practice focused on doing what is right for each individual client.
Over the years, the practice has evolved as my experience and interests led me deeper into investment management, real estate, 1031 exchanges and tax mitigation strategies. I enjoyed the complexity and the science behind that work, but the more specialize the practice became, the more I realized I was getting away from one of the things that originally attracted me to this profession: helping more people solve financial problems.
Today, Aycock Wealth Management brings those experiences together through comprehensive wealth management that incorporates investment management, retirement planning, estate planning and tax strategies while maintaining specialized experience in real estate and 1031 exchanges.
AWM remains intentionally boutique. I believe financial advice is personal, and keeping my practice that way allows me to know my clients, understand what matters to them and provide the level of service and attention I would want for my own family.

FOUNDER / oWNER
Billy J. Aycock
Billy was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, before attending Samford University and beginning his financial services career in Nashville after graduation.
Over more than 25 years in the profession, his career has taken him from Nashville to Atlanta, Denver and Birmingham through roles in sales, compliance, wholesaling and financial advising. Those different experiences provided Billy with a broad perspective on the financial services industry and helped shape his belief that an advisor’s responsibility extends well beyond managing a client’s investments.
In 2013, Billy returned to Nashville and founded Aycock Wealth Management. Today, he works with clients across investment management, retirement planning, estate planning and tax mitigation strategies while continuing to bring extensive experience in real estate and 1031 exchanges.
Billy believes some of the most valuable work an advisor can do happens outside of an investment portfolio, helping clients recognize problems, understand their options and coordinate the different financial decisions that affect their families.
Outside of the practice, church and family are what drive Billy. He and his wife, Stephanie, are the proud parents of two daughters and a son and are active members of The Church at Avenue South in Nashville. Their middle daughter, Hazel, was the inspiration for the creation of Hazel’s Heroes, a 501(c)(3) charity focused on helping children with Type 1 Diabetes.
